This music video is a machinima, with footage captured in video games called Myst Uru: Complete Chronicles and Myst Online: Uru Live and synchronized to Afterglow by Genesis and is Copyright (c) 1977 Gelring Ltd/Hit & Run Music. The video was assembled using Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0.

Note: Video of the Watcher's Sanctuary is from the offline game Myst Uru: Complete Chronicles released in 2004 and whose license is presently held by Ubisoft. The Watcher's Sanctuary has been renovated in Myst Online.

Myst Online: Uru Live is a multiplayer adventure/puzzle game from Cyan Worlds, the makers of MYST and Riven, available through GameTap in the US and Canada and standalone from some international countries.

The Making of Uruglow

The notes for this film are pretty short:

Started on the project on Saturday, January 6, using a live concert recording.
The next day, I got my hands on the original version of the song. I pieced together test #2 later that afternoon.
Test #3, final public test, went out 4 hours later. At this point, the video was already 95% complete.
I waited until January 19 to finish the video in order to include the scene from Eder Delin.
Release delayed to March 19, 2007 (60 days after Eder Delin released) so that players aren't spoiled by the video.
